About.
I’m passionate about helping others live with intention—whether it’s through shifting habits, reconnecting with movement, or growing meaningful businesses.
My mission is to guide people to live with more balance, purpose, and confidence.
My Story
Welcome!
Although I was born in Richmond, VA, I’ve always felt most at home by the bay. I spent many years growing and learning in the brackish water of the Piankatank River, and now I call the salty Rappahannock River home, in the small town of Urbanna, VA. Here, I share life with my husband and our two “kids,” Minnow the feline and Rosie the hound dog. In June 2024, my husband and I got married on a catamaran in the middle of the river—our forever special place.
My yoga journey started in Richmond, but I truly found my footing teaching in Urbanna after moving here full-time post-COVID. I was drawn to the people—many of whom were newcomers to yoga or a little older than I am—and to the growing interest in sustainability and mobility. This became my niche, and it's been a rewarding experience ever since.
I’ve been living a vegan lifestyle for almost 8 years, driven by my passion for protecting animals, supporting the environment, and honoring my health.
As the president of Urbanna Main Street, I’m dedicated to revitalizing my town and building a thriving, inclusive community. I’m particularly committed to acknowledging Urbanna's history, especially its painful past as a ‘sundown town’ and honoring the Native American tribes who once lived here.
After working with a local marketing company, I founded Salt of the Bay to help businesses with social media management and growing their dreams. My focus is on intentional living, rooted in nature, and I’m here to help others thrive in a mindful, purposeful way.
I hold a degree in Public Relations and Non-Profit Management from VCU and am a certified Master Vegan Life Coach and educator, as well as a 200-hour certified yoga instructor.
